Red Eyes, Allergies and Eye Infections Examinations

Optometrists have access to diagnostic equipment to determine the cause of both long-standing and sudden eye irritations and infections, and to provide management recommendations.

Our optometrist, Adele Ralston, has the ability to also prescribe a wide range of antibiotics and anti-allergy drugs. She completed The University of Auckland’s Programme in Ocular Therapeutics in 2005, to enable her to manage a range of eye irritations and infections, and co-manage certain eye diseases with ophthalmologists.
